GYMGUYZ Northern Virginia , we bring fitness directly to individuals, residential communities, organizations, workplaces, and community partners. We’re expanding our specialty fitness programming and looking for talented instructors who know how to create safe, engaging, and welcoming fitness experiences.
We are currently seeking instructors specializing in:
- Aqua Fitness
- Yoga — Gentle, Chair, and Flow
- Zumba / Dance Fitness
- HIIT / F.I.T.T. with appropriate modifications
- Balance & Fall Prevention
- Chair Fitness
- Low-Impact Cardio
- Strength Training
- Tai Chi
- Pilates

What You’ll Do: - Lead safe, engaging, professionally structured specialty fitness classes
- Deliver programming appropriate to your area of certification and expertise
- Modify movements and exercises for different fitness, mobility, and experience levels
- Create an encouraging, inclusive, and motivating environment
- Work with individuals, groups, active-aging populations, residential communities, corporate wellness programs, and community organizations
- Arrive prepared, professional, and on time for scheduled programs
- Communicate effectively with participants, facility partners, and GYMGUYZ management
- Follow appropriate safety and emergency procedures
- Help participants improve movement, confidence, strength, mobility, balance, and overall wellness
- Represent GYMGUYZ’s core values — Determination, Respect, Integrity, Versatility, Excellence (DRIVE) — in every class and interaction
What You Bring: - Current certification appropriate to your specialty or discipline
- CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain prior to assignment
- Previous group fitness, coaching, or instructional experience preferred
- Strong communication and participant-engagement skills
- Ability to safely modify programming for participants with different abilities and fitness levels
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned locations throughout Northern Virginia
- Professionalism, dependability, punctuality, and positive energy
- Comfort working independently while being part of a larger GYMGUYZ team
Multiple specialty certifications are highly valued.
Experience working with
older adults, beginners, adaptive populations, individuals with mobility limitations, or participants requiring exercise modifications is especially valuable.
